De Bijenkorf, Amsterdam
‘De Bijenkorf’ (The Beehive) in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, is the first of four Bijenkorf parking facilities located in key Dutch cities (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, Eindhoven), which needed to be upgraded to fit with the expectations of Bijenkorf customers.
‘De Bijenkorf’s’ are authentic and qualitative department stores and each has managed their own parking facility.
‘De Bijenkorf’ parking facility in Amsterdam was a large renovation assignment for Q-Park. We convinced Bijenkorf management of our expertise and our understanding of their – and their customers’ – needs.
The renovation period lasted from September 2007 till July 2008, while keeping the parking facility operational.
An inspiring and leading shopping experience starts with a good first impression.
The parking facility being an extension of the store, the customer experience had to be equal to the Bijenkorf brand:
