Makeover for new facility in The Hague

Access to Q-Park Noordeind is via the Heulstraat

On 6 March 2020 Q-Park signed the lease agreement for its fourteenth parking facility in The Hague. A major makeover is scheduled for the coming months.

The renovation coincides with the redevelopment of the former bank building located at Kneuterdijk 8 into the first Voco hotel on the European mainland. With its magnificent façade dating from the 1920s and a stunning atrium, this hotel will be an impressive high-end location. There will be direct access to the hotel from all parking decks in Q-Park Noordeinde. The parking facility also has a pedestrian access point in the Noordeinde shopping street, making the car park convenient for shoppers and tourists alike.

When the renovation is complete, Q-Park’s ‘Quality in parking’ promise will be a fitting complement to the luxurious Voco Hotel.

Together with the property owner, UBM Kneuterdijk BV, Q-Park is investing in the hospitality and accessibility of the location, which currently has 87 parking spaces. The car park capacity will be increased to approximately 100 parking spaces, opening hours will be extended to 24/7, and the lighting will be brought up to Q-Park standards and will use energy-saving LED fittings.

The ventilation system will be replaced by a more powerful, and more durable solution. Q-Park Noordeinde will be brighter and easier to maintain with a new floor coating as well as newly painted walls with clearer signage. All this will create a modern and comfortable parking facility.

Last, but not least, payment options at Q-Park Noordeinde will be brought into line with the Q-Park contactless standard. Customers can access and exit the car park by presenting their bank card at the terminal.
